Cowboys Look to Win Fourth-straight Big 12 Championship

STILLWATER, Okla. - The Oklahoma State cross country program will travel to College Station, Texas, to compete at the Big 12 Championships on Saturday.

The OSU men have won three-straight Big 12 championships and will be looking to bring home their fourth in as many years. Competing for the Cowboys will be seniors German Fernandez, Colby Lowe and Johnathan Stublaski; sophomores Tom Farrell, Shadrack Kipchirchir and Joseph Manilafasha; redshirt freshmen Kevin Colón, Kirubel Erassa and David Osborn and freshman Fabian Clarkson.

The Cowgirls finished fourth at last season's conference championship - their highest finish since 2006 - and will look to improve upon that performance this year. Featured for the Cowgirls will be seniors Victoria Fratczak and Teran Mixon; junior Jackie Campos; sophomores Caileigh Glenn, Kate Kujawa, Natanya Luther and Natalja Piliusina and freshmen Adela Hofmannova, Monika Juodeskaite and Taylor Light.

The event, hosted by Texas A&M at the Pebble Creek Country Club, is set to begin at 10 a.m. with the running of the men's 8,000-meter race. The women's 6,000-meter race is slated for 11 a.m.

The top 15 runners in each race will be named to the All-Big 12 team, while the top team in each race will earn the Big 12 Championship.
