Cowboys Dip Into 10th At Isleworth

WINDERMERE, Fla. - Oklahoma State's men's golf team carded a 307 during its second round at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational on Monday to slip into 10th place through two rounds at Isleworth Country Club.
The Cowboys began the day in sixth place before posting their 19-over score at the par-72, 7,544-yard layout. Through 36 holes, OSU stands at 26-over 602, which puts them two shots clear of Augusta State and two strokes behind Florida. Texas carded a 296 en route to a 574 total and a 10-shot lead over LSU.
Texas' Jordan Spieth posted a 73 to stand at 138 and six shots clear of the field.
OSU sophomore Talor Gooch finished the day tied for ninth place at 145 after carding a 73 during his second round. Gooch stood at 4-over through 10 holes, but produced a strong finish with a birdie at the 15th and an eagle at the 17th to finish at 1-over for the day.
Junior Drew Page posted a 74 to finish tied for 31st place at 150, while junior Sean Einhaus' 81 tied him for 45th place at 153.
Sophomore Ian Davis posted a 79 to come in a stroke back at 154 and tied for 48th, while sophomore Kevin Dougherty carded an 81 to stand in a tie for 64th place at 159.
The Cowboys will begin their final round at 8:25 a.m. (EST) and will be grouped with Augusta State and Texas Tech.
