Cowboys Announce Future Big 12 Slates

STILLWATER, Okla. < the="" big="" 12="" conference="" has="" revealed="" its="" football="" schedules="" through="" the="" year="" 2022="" for="" the="" new="" 10-team="" league.="" the="" updated="" rotation="" will="" take="" effect="" next="" season="" and="" will="" feature="" contests="" against="" each="" of="" the="" league's="" counterparts.="">
In order to balance the schedule, Oklahoma State will make consecutive trips to Austin and Lubbock to face Texas and Texas Tech, respectively. However, in-state rival Oklahoma will return to Stillwater to close Big 12 play for the second-straight year. The 2011 Bedlam showdown will take place on Nov. 26.
OSU's 2011 league slate will see the Cowboys open at Texas A&M. The date for the contest against the Aggies has yet to be determined and will be announced upon the finalization of the schools' non-conference schedules.
Kansas will serve as the opponent for OSU's conference home opener with the Jayhawks visiting Boone Pickens Stadium on Oct. 8.
An Oct. 15 trip to Austin to face the Longhorns will precede an Oct. 22 contest in Columbia, Mo., against the Missouri Tigers.
The Cowboys will return home to face Baylor on Oct. 29 and Kansas State on Nov. 5 before their Nov. 12 tilt against the Red Raiders in Lubbock.
OSU's final road game will come on Nov. 19 when it travels to Iowa State.
Times and dates are subject to change to accommodate television. Additionally, the Cowboys' future non-conference schedules will be announced as they become official.
