:: Oklahoma State improved to 2-0 on the year, 2-1 all-time against Troy and 22-2 against Sun Belt teams with the win.
:: True freshman cornerback Devin Hedgepeth, senior receiver Bo Bowling and sophomore defensive tackle Nigel Nicholas became the 14th, 15th and 16th Cowboys to earn their first career starts in 2010.
:: Serving as Oklahoma State captains for today's game were offensive lineman Grant Garner, linebacker Justin Gent and punter Quinn Sharp.
:: With OSU's opening-drive field goal, the Cowboys have now scored on the opening drive of both games this year, as they opened the Washington State game with a two-play touchdown drive.
:: The Cowboy offense also scored a touchdown on the opening drive of the second half, marking the second time OSU has accomplished that feat this year.
:: OSU's defense held Troy to a 3-and-out on its opening-drive possession. The Cowboys have stopped both opponents on their opening drives in 2010, recovering a WSU fumble on the first snap of last week's game.
:: OSU's defense also forced a punt to open the second half, marking the second time in as many games the defense has made a stop to open the second half.
:: With Kendall Hunter's second-quarter touchdown run, he has scored in both games in 2010. It is also his ninth career multiple touchdown game.
:: Dan Bailey was perfect on two field goal tries today, making him 3-for-3 on the year. He was also 5-for-5 on extra point tries, pushing his career total to 144-for-144.
:: Troy's Jerrel Jernigan returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter, marking the first time an opponent has returned a kickoff for a touchdown against Oklahoma State since Colorado's Brian Lockridge returned a kick 98 yards for a score Nov. 19, 2009.
:: Quinn Sharp's 67-yard second quarter punt matched his career long, set in 2009 at Oklahoma.
:: Kendall Hunter's 157 rushing yards today and his 257 yards last week combine for a total of 414 in the first two games, marking the third-best start in OSU history. Vernand Morency ran for 445 yards in 2004 and Thurman Thomas went for 428 in 1985.
:: Hunter rushed for at least 100 yards for the 13th time in his career and set a career high for carries with 28.
:: Josh Cooper's 66-yard punt return in the third quarter was the first time an OSU player has returned a punt for a touchdown since Perrish Cox's 67-yard score against Colorado Nov. 19, 2009.
:: In addition, Cooper's return was the second of two OSU punt returns of at least 50 yards, with Justin Gilbert returning a punt 50 yards to end the first half. Those returns equal last year's total as OSU had two punt returns of at least 50 yards in 2009.
:: OSU has totaled two special teams touchdowns in the first two games of this season, matching the season total for 2009.
:: Josh Cooper set career highs in catches with eight receptions and receiving yards with 114.
:: Brandon Weeden set career highs for passing yards with 348, attempts with 39 and completions with 29. :: Weeden's 348 passing yards were the most by an OSU player since Zac Robinson's 395 yards against Iowa State in 2008 and the first 300-yard passing effort since Robinson threw for 329 yards against Oregon in 2008. His performance ranks as the ninth-best game in school history in terms of passing yards.
:: Justin Blackmon set a new career high with 132 receiving yards, surpassing his total of 125 set in the opener against Washington State.
:: Blackmon and Cooper combined to form the first pair of OSU receivers to gain 100 receiving yards in a single game since Rashaun Woods and John Lewis recorded 143 and 113 yards, respectively, against UCLA in 2002.
