Season Opener To Be Televised

KANSAS CITY - The Big 12 Conference has announced that Oklahoma State's 2010 football season opener against Washington State will be televised by FSN with a 6 p.m. kick from Boone Pickens Stadium.
The opener is one of four Cowboy games that have been selected early by the league's TV partners. The Cowboys will host Texas A&M on Thursday, Sept. 30, on ESPN and OSU will play a Friday night game at Louisiana-Lafayette on Oct. 8 in an ESPN2 contest.
The Oklahoma-Oklahoma State game will be televised by ABC on Saturday, Nov. 27. A kick time for that contest is yet to be determined.
ABC and FSN will announce additional selections for television during the course of the season. The Big 12 Conference usually makes those announcements 12 days prior to the game, although ABC has the right to exercise a six-day option three times during the course of the season.
The Cowboys appeared on television 11 times during the 2009 season and closed the year with four straight national television appearances, including the 2010 AT&T Cotton Bowl game.
