STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State collected 18 hits from nine different players as the Cowboys cruised to a 14-3 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Tuesday night at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for OSU as the Cowboys improved to 29-23 overall, which includes a 23-10 mark on their home field. The Golden Lions dropped to 18-31 with the loss.
Tom Belza led a group of five Cowboys who recorded multiple hits as the junior shortstop was 4-for-4 at the plate and scored four runs. Mark Ginther was 3-for-5 and tied a career high with four RBIs, while Luis Uribe also had three hits in five at bats and drove in three runs.
Junior Thomas Keeling earned his first win on the mound since April 9 as the southpaw worked seven scoreless innings to improve to 4-6. He allowed just two hits while striking out nine and walking five.
OSU wasted no time taking control of the scoreboard as Uribe blasted a two-run home run in the top of the first to give the Cowboys an early 2-0 lead. Two batters later, Ginther delivered OSU's third run with his team-leading 11th round tripper of the season.
The Cowboys were held scoreless in the second and third frames but would score in each of the next five innings to put the game away, including turning in a pair of three-run rallies in the sixth and seventh.
OSU's 3-4-5 hitters in the lineup -- Uribe, Ginther and Nico Rosthenhausler -- each collected multiple RBIs, with that trio combining to drive in nine of the Cowboys' 14 runs.
The two teams will close out their midweek series Wednesday at 4 p.m., a game that marks the final home game for the Cowboys this season.
