OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Keiton Page scored 20 points, Ray Penn added 12 and Oklahoma State beat Alabama 68-60 Saturday night in the Lane All-College Classic.
The Cowboy junior was named the Henry Iba Most Valuable Player of the "Pistol" Pete Maravich game, signifying the first game of the doubleheader. Page connected on 4-of-7 shots from the floor, including 3-of-6 three-pointers, and was 9-of-10 from the free-throw line.
Penn also had seven assists in the game while playing 36 minutes. He played the final four minutes of the game while suffering from sever leg cramps.
Jamychal Green had bookend baskets on a 10-0 run that got Alabama within three points midway through the second half, but that's as close as the Crimson Tide (5-6) got.
Page and Penn each hit 3-pointers to push Oklahoma State's lead back to 52-44, and the Cowboys hit 14 free throws over the final 6:09 to put the game away. Oklahoma State didn't have a basket during that final stretch, but didn't need one against the foul-prone Tide.
Green scored 16 points to lead Alabama before becoming one of three Tide players to foul out.
Oklahoma State (10-1) will host the Stanford Cardinal on Thursday, Dec. 21, in the final game of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series. Tipoff is set for 8 pm and the game will be televised by ESPNU.
