PHILADELPHIA - Oklahoma State running back Kendall Hunter and receiver Justin Blackmon have been named as two of the 16 semifinalists for the 2010 Maxwell Award, the Maxwell Football Club announced Monday afternoon.
The award is presented annually to the Collegiate Player of the Year in memory of former player Robert W. (Tiny) Maxwell. Voters include head football coaches, members of the Maxwell Football Club, and sportswriters and broadcasters from across the country.
The list of 16 semifinalists will be trimmed to three finalists on Nov. 22.
