· Oklahoma State moves to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in Big 12 play with its win over Baylor.
· OSU set a school record for most offensive yards in a single game with 725, breaking the previous record of 722 set against Tulsa earlier this season.
· Brandon Weeden set OSU single-game records for passing yards with 435 and completions with 34. The previous record for passing yards (430) was set by Zac Robinson against Texas in 2008. The completions record (30) was set by Zac Robinson against Texas in 2007 and Aso Pogi against Colorado in 2000.
· Weeden also tallied 454 total offensive yards, ranking as the fourth-best single game total in school history.
· Weeden also recorded his fifth career game with at least 300 passing yards, with all of those games coming this season. That total ties Zac Robinson and Josh Fields for the most 300-yard passing games in school history.
· Justin Blackmon caught 13 passes against the Bears, tying his career high, which is also tied for the second-most catches in a single game in school history.
· OSU had two players with more than 100 receiving yards for the third time this year and the fifth time in school history.
· Oklahoma State recorded at least 500 yards of total offense for the sixth time this year.
· With Baylor's opening drive punt, Oklahoma State has now kept opponents from scoring on their opening drive in eight of nine games this year.
· Oklahoma State has also kept opponents from scoring in eight of nine second-half opening drives, as Baylor punted on its first possession of the third quarter.
· OSU has now scored touchdowns on its opening drive of the second half seven times in nine games this year.
· OSU has now scored 41 times on 44 red zones opportunities this year. The Cowboys entered the game ranking second nationally in red zone scoring and were 6-for-8 today.
· Justin Blackmon entered the game leading the nation in touchdown receptions, scoring per game and receiving yards per game. He hauled in 13 catches for 173 yards and had a touchdown reception against the Bears.
· Blackmon also entered the game ranked 12th nationally with 161 all-purpose yards per game. He had 242 against Baylor.
· Blackmon recorded at least 100 yards for the eighth-straight game this season. It was also his eighth-consecutive game with a TD reception, the longest streak since 1988 when Hart Lee Dykes had an eight-game streak to end the year, including the Holiday Bowl.
· Dan Bailey scored 13 points against Baylor to move his career total to 326 and pass Cary Blanchard (315) for second place on the OSU career scoring list. Bailey is 18-19 on field goal tries this year. He also went 7-7 on extra points today, making him 182-182 during his career as a Cowboy.
· Kendall Hunter's 12 points give him 222 for his career, moving him into 10th place on the OSU career list. He passes Jason Ricks, who scored 219 from 2004-07.
· From the fourth quarter of the Kansas State game through halftime of the Baylor game, a span of three quarters, OSU recorded six takeaways.
· Justin Blackmon's 69-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the longest OSU rush of the year, his longest career rush and his first career rushing touchdown.
· It was also OSU's third one-play touchdown drive of the year and the second of at least 60 yards.
· Bo Bowling recorded career highs in receptions and receiving yards for the second-straight game. He had nine catches for 101 yards today.
· Colton Chelf's 62-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter was the longest catch of his career and his first career touchdown.
· True freshman Justin Gilbert's 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter was the longest of his career and his first career touchdown.
· It was the first OSU kickoff return for a touchdown since Perrish Cox returned a kickoff 90 yards for a score against Oklahoma in 2008.
· The Cowboys had three touchdown plays of at least 60 yards today, giving them eight 60-plus yard scoring plays this year.
· With Kendall Hunter's 66 rushing yards, he now has 3,873 career rushing yards, ranking fourth in school history and 441 yards behind David Thompson in third.
· Serving as Oklahoma State captains for today's game were receiver Bo Bowling, punter Quinn Sharp and safety Johnny Thomas.
