Cowboy Duo Named to AFCA All-America Team

Oklahoma State football standouts Justin Blackmon and Kendall Hunter have been named to the American Football Coaches Association All-America Team for their outstanding performances throughout the 2010 season, the AFCA announced today.
Blackmon, a sophomore receiver from Ardmore, Okla., is currently tops in the nation with his 151.4 receiving yards per contest and stands second nationally with his 9.27 receptions per game. Blackmon has amassed a nation-leading 1,665 receiving yards and is second in the country with 102 receptions. His 18 touchdown receptions rank first in the country and are just one shy of the single-season school record held by Dez Bryant.
Against Oklahoma, Blackmon tied an NCAA record by logging his 11th-straight game of 100 receiving yards with at least one touchdown.
A senior running back, Hunter finished the regular season with 1,516 yards on 261 carries to earn All-America status for the second time in his career. The Tyler, Texas native, who tallied 16 touchdowns during the regular season, ranks sixth nationally with his 126.3 rushing yards per game.
Hunter currently ranks fourth on the school's all-time rushing list with 4,149 yards. He is also fourth on the school's career chart with 37 rushing touchdowns.
