STILLWATER, Okla. - The Oklahoma State wrestling team competes at the Kaufman-Brand Open hosted by the University of Nebraska-Omaha Saturday. The event begins at 9 a.m. with competition running all day and ending at approximately 10 p.m.
The Cowboys are one of 35 times competing at the event. Individual weight class champions will be crowned, but there will not be any kind of team score kept.
Several OSU wrestlers are suiting up, but there are a pair of notable omissions as 157-pounder Neil Erisman will miss his second straight event due to injury and 285-pounder Alan Gelogaev is also sidelined due to injury.
The Kaufman-Brand Open marks the second competition of the year for the Pokes, who dominated the season-opening Oklahoma City Open by crowning eight weight class champions and six runners-up.
