Cowgirl Soccer Receives Academic Honor

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - For the ninth consecutive year, the Oklahoma State soccer program has earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award.

To earn the NSCAA Team Academic Award, a team must post a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Cowgirls recorded a 3.21 GPA for the 2009-10 school year.

OSU, which was one of seven teams from the Big 12 Conference to earn the NSCAA award in 2010, had a program-record 13 players named Academic All-Big 12 First Team this year and also placed three players on the ESPN/CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 teams.
