STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Marshall Moses had 17 points and nine rebounds and Ray Penn scored 17 off the bench as Oklahoma State survived a scare Wednesday, beating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 68-58.
Penn connected on a pair of 3-pointers in the final three minutes for the Cowboys (2-0), the only two long-range connections for OSU in the game. Darrell Williams added eight points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
Terrence Jones scored 18 points for Corpus Christi (1-2). Chris Mast and Jaamon Echols each added nine points, and Demon Watt had eight rebounds.
Echols' field goal tied the game at 42 with 11 minutes to play and his basket at the 4:30 mark made it 54-51. However, a dunk by Matt Pilgrim and his assist on a Jean-Paul Olukemi dunk gave Oklahoma State a seven-point lead with just over 3 minutes remaining.
Penn's 3-pointers pushed the final margin to 10.
