DeLozier Named To Community Of Champions

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State junior Elizabeth DeLozier has been honored as OSU's Fall 2010 Chick-fil-A Community of Champions recipient, it was announced today by the Big 12 Conference.
A midfielder for the Cowgirl soccer team, DeLozier was honored based on her exceptional fulfillment of criteria in the areas of academics, community service and leadership/sportsmanship.
DeLozier, a native of Houston, serves as one of OSU's team captains this season and has started 11 games for the Cowgirls, who are 14-3-1 and ranked No. 11 nationally.
In the classroom, DeLozier is a human development and family science major who has been named to the OSU President's and Dean's Honor Rolls, and she is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Also actively involved on campus and in the community, DeLozier spends time volunteering at the Renaissance of Stillwater Assisted Living Center, St. Andrew's Thrift Shop and the Stillwater Medical Center.
The Big 12 Conference, in conjunction with Chick-fil-A, names one student-athlete from each conference institution to the Community of Champions during the fall, winter and spring terms.
OSU will be awarded $3,000 from Chick-fil-A for DeLozier's efforts in earning this honor.
