Cowgirl Equestrian Knocks Off Baylor

The Oklahoma State equestrian team knocked off the defending Big 12 Champion Baylor Bears, 12-6, at the Animal Science Arena Saturday, improving to 2-0 on the year.
"We couldn't be happier with the way our ladies rode today," head coach Larry Sanchez said.
Senior Bri Parnell received her first MVP of the season in reining as the western team rolled to a 7-1 victory. Lauren Halvorson also picked up MVP honors in for her horsemanship performance.
Alice White picked up an MVP in equitation over fences and Erin Prutow and Ellie Sparks added head-to-head wins in the discipline as the Cowgirls solidified their victory with a win in the hunterseat in raw scores, 771-768.
The Cowgirls will be back in action when they travel to Waco, Texas, for a rematch with the Bears on October 29.
