Oklahoma State's men's golf team posted a 295 during its first round at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational on Friday to stand in a tie for ninth place.
OSU wrapped up the day tied with Southern California and Stanford. Northwestern ran out to the early lead with a 286 total and is two shots clear of Florida State.
The Wildcats' Eric Chun, Seminoles' Seath Lauer and Arizona State's Scott Pinckney all carded 2-under 68s to top the individual race.

He then ran off 11-straight pars to close his round.
