Post-Practice Gundy Audio
Practicing once again on the turf of Boone Pickens Stadium, Oklahoma State went through drills that spanned more than two hours and featured a stingy Cowboy defense.
"That was a good practice - very good for the defense," head coach Mike Gundy said. "I'm for the defense every day. When the defense is as competitive as those guys were in practice today, it really pushes the offense and stirs the pot and guys fight back a little bit. It was a good practice.
"I would have liked to have seen the offense take better care of the ball."
The Cowboys practice again late Friday afternoon when the team will don shoulder pads for the first time. A Saturday morning practice will take place at 9 a.m. in advance of Media Day (1 p.m.) and Fan Appreciation Day (5 p.m. Saturday evening).
