Cross Country Schedule Released

STILLWATER, Okla. - The Oklahoma State men's and women's cross country teams released their schedules for the 2009 season today.
The men's team has seven meets on the schedule, including the Big 12 Championships, the NCAA Regional and the NCAA Championships. The Cowgirls are scheduled to run in nine events, including the three postseason meets.
Both schedules are highlighted by the Cowboy Jamboree on Oct. 3 in Stillwater, Okla. The Cowboy Jamboree is being contested for the 73rd time this year.
The Cowboy and Cowgirl squads will open the 2009 campaign on Sept. 1 at Mohawk Park in Tulsa, Okla., in a three-team meet with Tulsa and Oral Roberts.
The Cowboy runners will look to defend their Big 12 title from a year ago Oct. 31 when they travel to Columbia, Mo., for the Big 12 Championships.
The Cowboys will look to improve on their eighth place finish from a year ago at the 2009 NCAA Cross Country Championships are scheduled for Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind.
