NASHVILLE - The parade of preseason top 10 national football rankings continued for Oklahoma State over the weekend when Athlon Sports unveiled OSU as No.9 team in the magazine's summer countdown.
The magazine listed three Cowboys as first-team All-Americans, including receiver Dez Bryant, kick returner Perrish Cox and offensive lineman Russell Okung.
Running back Kendall Hunter was a third-team All-America selection by the publication. Twelve Cowboys earned preseason all-Big 12 recognition by Athlon.
Oklahoma State returns 15 starters from last season's 9-4 team that ended the year No. 16 in the Associated Press poll. Among the returning players are Bryant, a consensus All-America receiver and the Big 12 special teams player of the year, first-team All-America running back Hunter, first-team all-Big 12 tackle Okung and a first-team All-America kick returner in Cox.
Rising senior quarterback Zac Robinson was a finalist for the Manning Award and is already OSU's all-time leader in total offense and is No. 5 among all active NCAA players in career passing efficiency.
