2008 Outdoors: Competed in the javelin throw at four outdoor meets, recording a season-best toss of 35.34 meters at the Sooner Open ... Other marks included throws of 32.92 meters at the John Jacobs Invitational, 32.32 meters at the Bobby Lane Invitational and 27.80 meters at the Tulsa Invitational.
2008 Indoors: Did not compete.
2007 Outdoors: Switzer saw limited action as freshman...Finished 13th in the javelin throw at the Tulsa Duels with 29.71m...Her 27.82m javelin throw was enough to earn her a 15th place finish at the Bobby Lane Arlington Invitational.
2007 Indoors: Did not compete.
High School: Switzer focused on throwing the discus, shot put and running the 200-meter dash ... also competed on her high school's basketball, golf and cross country team.
