Cowgirl Tennis Drops Quarterfinal Match to Texas A&M

The Aggies won the doubles point with wins at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles. Janelle Cuthbertson and Christi Liles picked up an 8-3 decision over JoAnne Karaitiana and Nataliya Shatkovskaya at the No. 1 doubles.
Sheri Olivier and Elze Potgieter followed with an 8-6 win over OSU's Sasha Belova and Maryna Tkachenko. The No. 2 doubles match was not completed.
A&M extended its lead to 2-0 with Potgieter's 6-3, 6-3 win over Karaitiana. Olivier quickly followed with a 6-4, 6-1 win over OSU's Alisa Buslaieva to push the Aggie lead to 3-0.
OSU got on the board when Big 12 champion Iryna Khatsko won 6-3, 6-4 over Liles at No. 3 singles. The freshmen lost only three Big 12 matches all spring.
The Aggies clinched the match with Morgan Frank's 6-3, 6-2 triumph over Shatkovskaya.
The Nos. 4 and 5 singles matches were not completed.
