STILLWATER, Okla. ÂOklahoma State linebacker Seb Clements, who just completed his Cowboy football career this past season, has been recognized as a member of the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame's 2009 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who maintained a 3.2 GPA or better.
Qualifications for membership in the inaugural NFF National Honor Society include being a starter or a significant substitute in one's last year of eligibility at an accredited NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision, Football Championship Subdivision, Division II, Division III, or an NAIA college or university, achieving a 3.2 cumulative grade point average throughout entire course of undergraduate study and meeting all NCAA-mandated progress towards degree requirements.
A first-team academic all-Big 12 honoree and a semifinalist for the National Football Foundation's Draddy Trophy in 2008, Clements made 15 tackles last year and helped the Cowboys to a top-15 national ranking for much of last season.
