Cowgirl Track and Field Headed to Texas Relays

STILLWATER, Okla. Â The Oklahoma State women's track and field team is set to compete this week at the 82nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, hosted by the University of Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
The Cowgirls will compete in six different events at the meet, including the 400-meter hurdles and 4x800-meter relay on Thursday, the discus throw and triple jump on Friday and the distance medley relay and shot put on Saturday.
Freshman Kendra Woodson will get things going for Oklahoma State on Thursday as she competes in the 400-meter hurdles, where she ran a season-best time of 1:05.20 at the UTA Invitational last weekend.
Oklahoma State's discus throw competitors include Merritt Dietz, who threw a regional qualifying 48.82 meters in her last meet, and Courtney Gougler. Dietz will also compete in the shot put.
Clarissa Andrews and Baiba Blumbaha will compete in the triple jump, where they have season-best marks of 12.49 and 12.33 meters, respectively.
The Cowgirl events are scheduled to begin on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. with the 400-meter hurdles and end on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. with the shot put.
