Cowgirls Split A Pair Of Spring Exhibition Matches

AUSTIN, Texas  Oklahoma State split a pair of spring exhibition matches Saturday in Austin, Texas.
The Cowgirls opened with a 6-1 win over Stephen F. Austin Saturday morning as four different players found the back of the net. Annika Niemeier and Krista Lopez both netted two goals apiece, while Kasey Langdon and Siera Strawser also added goals.
Niemeier scored the Cowgirls' first two goals off assists from Elizabeth DeLozier and Langdon. Next it was Lopez' turn as she scored the first of her two unassisted goals.
Langdon's goal came off an assist from Whitney Wernimont, and Niemeier and Katie Richardson assisted on Strawer's goal, OSU's fifth of the match.
On Saturday evening, the Cowgirls finished their weekend with a 3-0 loss to LSU.
OSU returns to action Saturday when they travel to Lubbock, Texas to take on UTEP and Texas Tech.
