Zivile Pukstiene

Pukstiene attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas after beginning her jumping career in her home country of Lithuania. Pukstiene not only set the current school record in the triple jump for the Mustangs, but also represented SMU at the 2003 NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships. Pukstiene placed ninth in the Indoor Championships, while claiming a 12th-place finish at the Outdoor Championships.
Before attending SMU Pukstiene was Lithuania's national champion in the triple jump in 2001 and 2003. She also is the current record holder in the triple jump in the Lithuania National Junior under-18, under-20 and under-23 divisions.
Pukstiene was born on November 9, 1979. She is married to Mindaugas Pukstas. The couple had their first child, Rockus, in Sept. 2004.
