KU used a 9-0 run in the second half to push the lead into double figures with seven minutes remaining before the Cowgirls began to chip away and get back in the game.
OSU trailed 54-52 with 3:11 remaining, but was held scoreless the rest of the way as the Jayhawks reeled off the game's final 13 points to extend the Cowgirls' home losing streak to six consecutive games.
KU's Danielle McCray led all scorers and rebounders with 30 points and 13 boards.
OSU junior Andrea Riley scored 18 points for the Cowgirls, while senior Shaunte' Smith was also in double figures with 13 points and a team-high seven rebounds.
