Smith Continues Cowboy Super Bowl Tradition

Former Oklahoma State standout Antonio Smith, a defensive end for the Arizona Cardinals, became the latest Cowboy to participate in the Super Bowl when the Arizona Cardinals faced the Pittsburgh Steelers in the entertaining battle for the world championship.
Smith became the 16th former Cowboy to participate in a Super Bowl.
A native of Oklahoma City, Smith spent two seasons at OSU after a junior college career at NEO. In two seasons with the Cowboys, Smith racked up 60 tackles, 8.5 sacks and seven quarterback hurries in 24 games.
A 6-foot-4, 285 pounder, Smith was a fifth-round pick by Arizona in the 2004 NFL Draft. He played in just two games as a rookie but has appeared in 63 games the past four seasons, including 41 starts.
During the 2008 regular season, Smith started 10 games and recorded 41 tackles and 3.5 sacks. He has started in two of the Cardinals' three playoff wins and has recorded six tackles, a pair of sacks and a safety.
In 2007, Smith started 13 games and set career highs in with 60 tackles, 5.5 sacks and three fumble recoveries.
