Susa Hits Provisional Mark at Iowa State Classic

AMES, Iowa – The Oklahoma State women's track and field team ran well at ISU Classic on Saturday, with Mihaela Susa highlighting the day with an NCAA provisional time of 9:26.86 in the 3,000-meter run.
Susa's time gave her a third-place finish in the event and the fourth-best 3,000-meter time in school history.
Other notable Cowgirl finishers from the meet include Kristen Gillespie, who finished the 800-meter run in 2:10.52 a day after competing for the distance medley relay team, and Kendra Woodson, who ran a personal-best time of 1:25.94 in the 600-yard run.
The distance medley relay team also competed well, as a young team posted a second-place finish in 11:34.61.
Oklahoma State returns to action on Feb. 21, when the Cowgirls travel to Norman, Okla., for the Sooner Open II.
