Uihlein Named Big 12 Golfer Of The Month

IRVING, Texas - OSU sophomore Peter Uihlein has been named the Big 12 Golfer of the Month for the month of November, the Conference office announced. The distinction was the second of the fall for the Orlando, Fla., native.

Uihlein earned his second victory of the fall with a 14-under-par score of 202 at the Gifford Collegiate CordeValle in San Martin, Calif. He fired three consecutive rounds in the 60s, including a second-round 65 and helped OSU to its second runner-up finish in four fall outings.

Uihlein, who is currently the top-ranked player in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index, also received the honor in September.
