:: QB Zac Robinson entered the game just 74 passing yards short of Mike Gundy's career record of 7,997. He recorded 142 passing yards Saturday to up his career total to 8,065 and set the new OSU mark. He also owns Oklahoma State career records for total offense and touchdown passes.
:: Robinson set the record on a 10-yard touchdown pass to Tracy Moore in the second quarter.
:: Including Saturday's victory, Oklahoma State has now won five consecutive games over teams from the Big 12 North (at Missouri, Iowa State and at Colorado in 2008 and Missouri and at Iowa State in 2009)

:: Dan Bailey kicked a 42-yard field goal to cap OSU's opening possession. The Cowboys have scored on their opening drive in three of the last four games.
:: Dan Bailey's 48-yard field goal in the first quarter was the second-longest made field goal of his career. He nailed a 51-yarder in the Cowboys' win over Missouri earlier in the year.
:: Oklahoma State's defense suffocated the Iowa State offense in the first half, forcing four Cyclone punts and recording an interception in the first 30 minutes. At halftime, Iowa State had 93 total yards on 28 plays (45 rushing yards and 48 passing yards)

:: LB Patrick Lavine intercepted Austen Arnaud in the fourth quarter. It was Lavine's fourth pick of the season and the seventh of his career.
:: RB Keith Toston punched in a two-yard touchdown run to cap an 11-play, 80-yard drive at the beginning of the second half, marking the fifth time this season that the Cowboy offense has scored a touchdown on its opening drive of the second half this year.
