Oklahoma State has forced its opponent to a three-and-out on its opening drive in four of the last five contests. Missouri kicked a field goal on its first possession.
Baylor failed to score on its first possession of the second half, marking the sixth-consecutive game that OSU has kept its opponent from scoring on its first possession after halftime.
Oklahoma State had nine different players catch a pass in today's game, matching the Grambling State game for the most in a game this season.
Oklahoma State's 445 yards of total offense mark the fourth time this season that the Cowboys have gone over 400 yards on offense.
OSU averaged 6.4 yards per play today, the most in a single game this season.
Baylor's 43 rushing yards as a team are the fewest by a Cowboy opponent this season and the fewest since the Bears rushed for 42 in last season's game.
Oklahoma State has now started a season 6-1 or better for the 12th time in school history.
OSU is 3-0 in Big 12 play for just the third time since the league formed in 1996, matching its starts in 1997 and 2008.
Team captains for today's game for Oklahoma State were senior cornerback and Waco native #16 Perrish Cox, junior fullback #37 Bryant Ward, and senior right tackle #60 Brady Bond.
Senior quarterback Zac Robinson broke the school record for pass completion percentage with a minimum of 20 completions at 85.2 percent (23 of 27). That mark is the highest in OSU history, besting the 77.1 percent set by current head coach Mike Gundy against Kansas in 1989. Gundy was 27 of 35.
With 109 rushing yards, Cowboy tailback Keith Toston now has 2,113 career yards, moving him into 13th place on the career rushing list. He surpassed Walt Garrison (2,041 yards), Dantrell Savage (2,092), Earl Lunsford (2,105) and George Palmer (2,110).
Toston's 1-yard TD run with 9:39 remaining in the game was the 22nd of his career, moving him past Kendall Hunter (21) and tying him with Zac Robinson for ninth on the career rushing touchdowns list.
LB Patrick Lavine's interception 5:33 into the game is his third of the season and the sixth of his career.
TE Wilson Youman's 22-yard TD reception with 6:18 remaining in the first quarter was the first scoring catch of his career. It is also the first touchdown catch by an OSU tight end since Brandon Pettigrew caught a 1-yard pass from Zac Robinson to end the first half against Texas on Nov. 3, 2007, a span 23 games.
Youman became the sixth different Cowboy to catch a scoring pass from Robinson this season.
TE Cooper Bassett's nine-yard catch in the second quarter was his first-career reception. He also became the 15th-different player to catch a pass for the Cowboys this season. He later made his first-career TD reception at the 9:38 mark of the second quarter.
Robinson connected on three scoring strikes against Baylor, the most by the Cowboy senior this season and the most since the Oklahoma game last year.
Robinson also set a season high with 23 completions against the Bears, breaking his mark of 22 against Missouri. The senior QB finished 23-of-27 for 250 yards and three touchdowns. It marked his 11th career game with 250 or more passing yards.
TB Beau Johnson rushed the ball 22 times against Baylor, a career high.
Waco native Perrish Cox finished the game with just two tackles but also two breakups in the game. Victor Johnson, also a Waco native, finished with three tackles and a pass breakup. The two also combined for two kick returns for 20 yards.
Place kicker Dan Bailey has now connected on six-consecutive field goals. He scored 10 points against the Bears and and moved into 11th place on the school career scoring list with 195 points. He moved past Bob Fenimore (186 points), Abby Daigle (190) and Dez Bryant (194).
Two of Oklahoma State's All-Americans - Dez Bryant and Kendall Hunter - both did not play for the fourth-consecutive game. OSU is 4-0 during that stretch.
