STILLWATER, Okla. - The Oklahoma State wrestling program hosts the 2009 Cowboy Wrestling Roundup at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Thurs., Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. Admission is free and food will be provided free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event will serve as a fan-friendly primer for the season, with head coach John Smith and the Cowboy wrestlers signing autographs, taking pictures and interacting with the fans.
"We're very excited about this year's Roundup," Smith said. "It gives us a chance to visit with both our longtime fans and reach out to a new fan base as well. We are very grateful for the support and energy that our fans bring to the arena when we wrestle and this is a great opportunity for us to be able to visit with them on a personal basis. We look forward to it."
After opening the season at the University of Central Missouri Open on Nov. 14, the Cowboys take the mat at Gallagher-Iba Arena for the first time when they host Arizona State at 7 p.m. on Nov. 20.
