Cowgirls Ready For J.D. Martin Invitational

The Basics
The Oklahoma State women's track and field team travels to Norman, Okla., Saturday to compete at the J.D. Martin Invitational, held at the Mosier Indoor Center at the University of Oklahoma.
This event marks the Cowgirls' third competition of the indoor season.
Several Cowgirls are trying to reach indoor NCAA qualifying marks this season, including Merritt Dietz, who qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials in the discus throw last year, and Baiba Blumbaha, who has won three individual championships in meets this indoor season.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., with the last event scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

Oklahoma State' last indoor meet was in Manhattan, Kan., where the Cowgirls competed at the KSU Invitational on January 17.
Oklahoma State's performance was highlighted by Baiba Blumbaha and Merritt Dietz, who won the triple jump with a leap of 12.26 meters and the shot put with a toss of 13.53 meters, respectively.
