Forrest Martin enters his second year with the Oklahoma State baseball program and will serve as a volunteer assistant coach in 2009.
Originally from Buffalo Valley, Okla., Martin played collegiately at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where he earned All-American, All-Region and conference pitcher of the year honors.
Following his collegiate career, Martin signed a free agent contract with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2003 and played in the Brewers' organization for three years.
Martin graduated with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from Southwestern and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Exercise Science.
