2008: Did not play due to health issues.
2007: Horner appeared in 28 games for the Cowboys this season, including 12 starts ... went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs against Arkansas State (4/11) ... had a career-best six-game hitting streak in April ... during the streak, the Cowboys picked up back-to-back series wins over Kansas State and Texas A&M ... had a pinch-hit single and later scored a run in the Cowboys' come-from-behind Bedlam victory on May 4 ... had a two-RBI, pinch hit single against Missouri (5/18).
2006: Played in 15 games, including a pair of starts ... in first Big 12 action of career (3/24 at Texas) was 1-for-1 and drove in a run with a double ... had a career-best 2-for-4 performance against Dallas Baptist (4/11).
2005: Horner sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Claremore Christian School in December of 2004 ... helped lead Claremore High to a runner-up finish at the state championships as a junior ... hit .400 with seven home runs as a junior ... helped lead the team to a state championship as a sophomore ... hit .375 with 10 homers during sophomore season ... was named all-conference and all-metro ... lettered three seasons at shortstop ... also considered Oklahoma, Oral Roberts, Wichita State, Arkansas, Kansas State and Missouri among others.
