JUNIOR COLLEGE: Hit .313 as a sophomore with six homers, 37 RBIs and 23 stolen bases ... as a freshman hit .371 with 35 RBIs and 11 stolen bases ... given a Golden Glove award as a shortstop ... also recruited by Penn State, Arkansas and Sam Houston State.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered all four years at Roff High School ... also played basketball and was named to the all-state team ... hit .560 with 24 home runs his senior year ... had a career total of 106 home runs ... was named to the all-state team and was selected as the all-area player of the year ... was a part of the state championship team in 2006 and 2004.
