2006-07 (at Houston): Played first two collegiate seasons at Houston ... as a sophomore, hit .263 with nine homers and 24 RBIs and was 1-1 on the mound ... in 2006, was named a Freshman All-American by Baseball America and Louisville Slugger ... hit .288 with eight homers and 30 RBIs and was 6-3 with a 3.00 ERA ... chose to transfer to OSU after considering Texas, Arizona State and Miami.
