I chose to attend Oklahoma State because: I like the community and want to be a national champion.
If I would describe myself as a wrestler, I would say: I'm very aggressive.
If I were to describe myself as a person, I would say: I'm open-minded, easy-going and a hard worker.
I would describe John Smith: As being upstanding. There is not a better teacher of the sport. He can be intimidating.
My favorite thing about being in Stillwater is: It is home.
My favorite thing about being a wrestler at Oklahoma State is: You know you are the best.
If I was talking to someone who didn't know about wrestling and they asked me about the Oklahoma State wrestling program, I would say: It is the elite program in the country and is always in the running for the national championship. OSU has great tradition.
I have been told that I look like: Coach Smith and am built like Pat Smith.
If I could compete in any other sport besides wrestling, it would be: Baseball.
If I could trade places with anyone in the world for a day, it would be: Pudge Rodriguez.
The thing that inspires me when I compete is: The satisfaction and glory of winning.
The proudest moment of my life so far was: When my dad said he was proud of me after my freshman state championship.
When I'm not wrestling or in school, I enjoy: Hunting, fishing, going to the lake and cooking.
