Bizzle Off The Mat
I chose to attend Oklahoma State because: Everything fit for me. The wrestling, academics and the ability to go home any time made my decision for me.
If I would describe myself as a wrestler, I would say: I am very technical. I believe my weakness is that I over-analyze my moves, yet I believe my strength is that I try to perfect my moves.
If I were to describe myself as a person, I would say: Overall, I'm a nice guy. I think I am mature for my age, yet at the same time can be over the top. You would have to get to know me to understand me.
I would describe John Smith: As being a dedicated individual who not only cares about the good of the team but the people on the team.
My favorite thing about being in Stillwater is: Being close to my family and friends.
My favorite thing about being a wrestler at Oklahoma State is: The opportunity that God has given me.
If I was talking to someone who didn't know about wrestling and they asked me about the Oklahoma State wrestling program, I would say: Wrestling at Oklahoma State is like playing football at Notre Dame or playing basketball at Duke. The tradition runs deep.
I have been told that I look like: My father, but a little better-looking.
If I could compete in any other sport besides wrestling, it would be: Golf.
If I could trade places with anyone in the world for a day, it would be: Robert E. Lee. In my opinion, he was the greatest general this country has ever seen.
The thing that inspires me when I compete is: Knowing that I am making my parents proud no matter the outcome.
The proudest moment of my life so far was: Getting my high school diploma and getting into college.
When I'm not wrestling or in school, I enjoy: Relaxing, hunting, going to the pool, playing poker or just hanging out with my friends and teammates.
