September 29, 2008 | Cowboy Football
IRVING, Texas  The Oklahoma State Cowboys and Missouri Tigers will meet before a national television audience on Oct. 11, the Big 12 Conference has announced.
The game between two of the Big 12 Conference's unbeaten teams will be played at 7 p.m. (CST) in Columbia, Mo., and will be nationally televised by ESPN or ESPN2. On Sunday, an official announcement will be made as to which network will televise the game.
The television appearance will be the first for the Cowboys since the season-opening victory at Washington State on Fox Sports Net. The Missouri game will also be Oklahoma State's first on one of the ESPN networks since the first two road games of last season (at Georgia and at Troy) were televised by ESPN2. The Cowboys' last appearance on ESPN came in the 2006 PetroSun Independence Bowl when Oklahoma State knocked off Alabama.
Oklahoma State, ranked No. 21 in the Associated Press poll, No. 22 in the USA Today poll and No. 23 in the Harris poll, will host Texas A&M Saturday night at 6 p.m. in Boone Pickens Stadium.
