High School: Attended Bishop Lynch HS in Dallas, where he was coached by Kenny Monday ... Part of the same Bishop Lynch pipeline that has produced several current members of the Oklahoma State wrestling team ... Compiled a 42-2 record his senior year and won the Texas state championship. In addition to his success on the mat, Koepp also rushed for 1,116 yards and two touchdowns for the Bishop Lynch football team ... Ranked 12th in the nation and third among all juniors at 152 pounds in the final 2006-07 InterMat rankings ... Entered his senior season ranked No. 6 in the nation at 152 pounds by W.I.N. Magazine and ranked 10th in the 160-pound weight class in the Amateur Wrestling News preseason rankings ... Finished third at the 2006 Beast of the East Tournament.
