Odenyo Named To TopDrawerSoccer.com Team Of The Week

LONG BEACH, Calif. — Oklahoma State senior midfielder Yolanda Odenyo has been named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Women's College Team of the Week, it was announced today.
Odenyo led the Cowgirls to a pair of road wins last weekend as OSU improved to 6-0-0 on the season with victories over No. 26 Louisville and Xavier. The 6-0-0 start is the Cowgirls' best since they opened the 2003 season 10-0-0.
A native of Uppsala, Sweden, Odenyo collected six points on the weekend, which tied for team-high honors. In the win at Louisville, Odenyo's goal in the 29th minute gave OSU a 2-1 lead in a game the Cowgirls went on to win, 3-2.
Against Xavier, Odenyo recorded a goal and two assists in OSU's 5-1 win.
With her efforts over the weekend, Odenyo moved into a tie for third place on OSU's career goals list with 24. She also moved into fourth on the school's all-time scoring list with 65 points.
Odenyo is tied for the OSU team lead in goals this season with five and ranks second on the squad with 65 points.
Along with Odenyo's honor, OSU also moved up to 13th in this week's TopDrawerSoccer.com national rankings.
