STILLWATER, Okla. Â- The tone was set instantly by the Oklahoma State defense in Saturday's 57-13 win over Missouri State at rainy Boone Pickens Stadium. On the first play from scrimmage, Quinton Moore forced a fumble that was recovered by Derek Burton to set up an OSU touchdown just five plays later.

The Cowboy defense forced the Bears to punt on their ensuing possession, and on the first play from scrimmage after the punt, Zac Robinson connected with Bo Bowling on a 66-yard touchdown strike to swell the lead to 15-0 just 4:30 into the game.

An eight-yard Kendall Hunter touchdown run at the 6:28 mark of the first quarter expanded the OSU lead to 22-0 and effectively put the game out of reach. Coach Mike Gundy elected to play his entire second-team offense with the exception of Robinson in the first quarter and Robinson was eventually substituted before halftime.

Hunter was taken out of the game with 13:59 remaining in the second quarter and did not return, but still logged 132 yards rushing and two touchdowns on just 11 carries. Keith Toston and Beau Johnson saw the rest of the action at running back, with Toston finishing with 11 carries for 148 yards and a touchdown and Johnson adding 13 carries for 138 yards and two touchdowns.

Saturday's game marked the first time since Dantrell Savage (130), Robinson (116) and Hunter (113) all rushed for more than 100 yards against Texas Tech last year that OSU had three players rush for more than 100 yards in a single game.

When last game's 56-37 win over Houston and Saturday's win are combined it marked the first time since 2003 that OSU eclipsed the 50-point mark in consecutive games.
