Friends Invitational Canceled

WICHITA, Kan. - The 2008 Friends Invitational has been canceled due to inclement weather conditions, school officials announced Friday. The meet was scheduled to be held Friday evening at Lake Afton Park, where a section of the course is impassable due to heavy rainfall. The Cowgirls return to action on Sept. 20, when they compete in the Iowa State Invitational and Missouri State Invitational.
