2008 Outdoors: Focused on the middle distance events during the outdoor season, setting season-best marks of 2:16.81 in the 800 meters at the Missouri Southern Festival and 4:36.40 in the 1500 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays ... Other 1500 meter marks included 4:39.31 at the Bobby Lane Invitational, 4:44.05 at the Tulsa Invitational and 4:45.36 at the Big 12 Championships, where she placed 13th ... Ran the 3000 meters at the John Jacobs Invitational, clocking in at 10:43.32.
2008 Indoors: Competed at seven events during the indoor season, focusing primarily on the 600 yards, where she was timed at a season-best 1:28.51 at the KSU All-Comers Meet ... Consistently ran in the 1:29 range in the 600 yards, clocking in at 1:29.45 at the J.D. Martin Invitational, 1:29.54 at the Missouri Southern Invitational and 1:29.83 at the Kansas State Invitational ... Ran the 1,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships, finishing the race in 2:58.43 ... Clocked a 5:12.59 in the mile at the Sooner Invitational.
2007 Cross Country: Competed in four races as a true freshman, posting a season-best 20:08 at the 5,000 meter Cowboy Jamboree ... Clocked a 25:01 in her only 6,000 meter race, the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival ... Ran a 20:56 at the Friends Invitational to finish 11th overall and third among Cowgirls running at the event ... First race of her career was the two-mile Hurricane Cross Country Festival, where she ran the two-mile race in 12:41.
High School: Attended Coalgate HS in Coalgate, Okla., where she was coached by Sherry McCulley, Jim Jenson and Taylor Weibner ... A 16-time track and field all-state honoree and a four-time cross country all-state honoree ... Led her team to state track and field championships in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 ...
