Saw action at linebacker and on special teams as a sophomore and turned in a good performance in the 2007 spring game.
2006: Played in two games and recorded a tackle in the season opener against Missouri State.
2005: Saw limited action as a freshman.

High School: All-district and all-area football pick as a sophomore, junior and senior ... Team captain all three years and led the team in tackles all three seasons ... Honorable mention all-state as a first baseman his junior season and was all-district all three years ... Selected as the Greater Denton Sports Commission's Athlete of the Year in 2004, and was named the Student-Athlete of the Year by KXII-TV in Sherman, Texas ... Also lettered in basketball (twice named defensive MVP), track and was a member of powerlifting team all four years ... Senior class valedictorian.
