Had an impressive sophomore season in which he was a second-team all-Big 12 selection and a first-team academic all-Big 12 choice ... A second-team All-America selection by Rivals ... Spent much of the 2006 season leading the nation in punting average.
2006: Ended the year as the nation's eighth ranked punter with an average of 44.9 yards per punt on 50 attempts ... That average was the second best for a single season in OSU history ... Had three punts in excess of 70 yards with a season-best 72-yarder in the season opener against Missouri State, a 71-yarder at Kansas and a 70-yard punt vs. Florida Atlantic ... Fourteen of his punts were downed inside the opposition's 20-yard-line, including two in the Independence Bowl ... Other impressive punts included a 61-yarder at Houston, a 60-yarder at Texas Tech, a 58-yarder at Arkansas State and a 56-yard effort at Texas.
2005: Won the starting job as a true freshman and ended the season with a 39.9-yard average on 65 punts ... Twenty of his punts were downed inside the opponents' 20 and 16 resulted in a fair catch.
High School: As a senior in 2004, Fodge was accurate as well as showing great leg strength ... Was successful on 10-of-12 field goal attempts with a long of 52 yards ... Also punted for an average of 42 yards per kick and 80 percent of his kickoffs went for touchbacks ... During his career, Fodge connected on 26-of-33 field goals ... Was a first-team all-district selection as both a kicker and punter according to the Dallas Morning News.
