2008 Outdoors: Ran the 200 meters and the 400 meters during the outdoor portion of the schedule, clocking a season-best mark of 26.62 in the 200 meters at the TCU Invitational and a season-best mark of 1:01.72 in the 400 meters at the Bobby Lane Invitational ... Other times in the 200 meters included a 26.96 at the Tulsa Invitational and a 27.47 at the Bobby Lane Invitational ... Other 400 meter times included a 1:01.74 at the Tulsa Invitational and a 1:01.81 at the TCU Invitational.
2008 Indoors: Competed in sprints at four events during the indoor season, focusing primarily on the 200 meters, where she set a season best by clocking in at 27.35 at the J.D. Martin Invitational ... Ran a 27.56 at the Sooner Invitational ... Her only 60 meter effort came at the Sooner Invitational, where she crossed the finish line in 8.54 ... Competed in the 400 meters at the KSU All-Comers meet, running the race in 1:05.16.
2007 Cross Country: Did not compete.
High School: Attended Poteet HS in Dallas, Texas, where she was coached by Aaron Ward ... Part of a district champion team ... Ran on the 4x400 meter relay squad that won the district title and also competed in the 200 meters, where she placed third at the district meet ... Ran a 1:01.26 in the 400 meters her senior year ... Also competed in the triple jump and long jump as a senior.
