Scott Yielding Bio

Scott Yielding is starting his first year as Oklahoma State's coordinator of football operations. He is involved in recruitment and the daily internal functions of the Cowboy program.
In 1993, Yielding began his career as a recruiter and NCAA compliance liaison for his alma mater, The Citadel. After completing a master's degree in secondary education from The Citadel in 1998, he served the next 10 years in various capacities as a social studies teacher and coach on the high school level in South Carolina and Georgia. In 2005, Yielding served as Assistant Head Coach at Shiloh High School in Snellville, Ga., with fellow OSU football staff member Robert Matthews.
The 37-year-old Yielding was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. He was recently married to his wife Valerie in March of 2008.
