OSU Football Opener Set For Television

For the second consecutive year, the Oklahoma State football team will open a season on national television with plans now finalized for the 2008 debut.
The Cowboy's Aug. 30 game at Washington State will be televised by Fox Sports Net with kickoff set for 12:30 p.m. Pacific (2:30 p.m. Central). The game will be played at Seattle's Qwest Field instead of on the Washington State campus in Pullman. The Cougars will play in Stillwater in 2010.

The Washington State game will mark the eighth time in nine games that Oklahoma State has been televised to a national cable or regional network audience. The Cowboys appeared on FSN five times in 2007.
Oklahoma State and Washington State will be meeting for just the third time and for the first time since 1952. The Cougars will represent OSU's first Pac-10 opposition since the Cowboys registered a 31-20 win at UCLA to open the 2004 season.
